The Irony of It

When will it come for me, that thing I know I should be getting?

It's hard to feel happy knowing I haven't received mine yet.

I wonder what it will feel like once I get that marvelous thing?

I just know my life will be incredible once I finally get it.

I'm frustrated because it feels like everyone else around me already has theirs.

I guess I'll have to wait my turn and then everything will be amazing.

I wonder what it is, I wonder what it looks like? I know it will fix everything.

If I just had it, I could start enjoying my life. It's so hard living without it.

It feels like I've been waiting my whole life for it. It's the one thing that's missing.

I wonder how big it will be? I'm sure it's going to be fantastic when I get it.

I hope it comes this year, I guess I'll just sit here and wait for it.

There's really nothing I can do until it comes.
